Real Cinnamon sticks

Cinnamon Sticks - Ceylon commands about 90% of the  World Export Market, as Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Blume (Syn. Cinnamomum Verum Presl.) is indigenous to Ceylon.

Cinnamon Sticks are mainly exported in bales from Ceylon. The Cinnamon bales contain Cinnamon Sticks which are 40 - 42 inches in length. Each Cinnamon Stick bale contains 45 kgs in weight. However due to international weight restriction the Cinnamon Stick bales are now produced at between 20 to 25 kg. The Cinnamon Stick bales are finally wrapped in poly liners & covered with jute hessian cloth.

Cinnamon Sticks are graded on the diameter of each stick. The thinner the diameter the more valuable the Cinnamon Sticks.
